Sources suggest Nico has told his close people that he wants to join Barça – he is ready to make important sacrifices to make this move a reality this summer.
The meeting yesterday between Barça and Nico Williams's agent was scheduled due to Nico's request – he has offered himself to Barça!
Nico wanted wages worth €20M-€22M gross per season; those were his demands to Bayern Munich and Premier League clubs when enquiries were made. However, for Barça – Nico agrees to join for €12M-€13M gross per season in wages.
Barça have not made an official contract offer to Nico Williams and his agent at the moment; paying the €58M release clause is not an issue for Barça if they decide to pursue the deal.
Deco and Barça will make a final decision in the next days about the main LW target, with Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford – Nico Williams is also in serious consideration.
