The Red Devils are mulling over what to do with Antony after sending him out on loan to Real Betis in the winter transfer window. The South American rediscovered his spark in Spain, having fallen out of love with football at Old Trafford.
He has been attracting admiring glances from across Europe, with teams in Spain, Italy and Germany said to be weighing up the merits of summer approaches. Juve are one of those to have seen Antony register on their radar.
According to GIVEMESPORT, the Serie A giants wanted to enter into talks with United when former director of football Cristiano Giuntoli was calling the shots. He proposed that Antony could trade places with fellow Brazil international Luiz.
Various options were under consideration there, including a double loan agreement that would include permanent purchase clauses for 2026. Discussions have, however, been put on hold as Giuntoli has left his prominent post in Turin.
The Bianconeri must decide whether they still want to explore the option of bringing Antony on board, with United looking to bring in a fee for the 25-year-old forward, while ex-Aston Villa midfielder Luiz continues to see a return to the Premier League speculated on.
